Raven Quest 1 is one of the first major progression checks in The Forge, pushing you into Frostspire Expanse and testing both combat and mining efficiency. If you approach it methodically, you can clear the entire quest without leaving a single zone.

Must know before aiming for Raven Quest 1

Location of the Raven Quest 1

You start Raven Quest 1 on Island 3, Frostspire Expanse. This area is typically accessible around level 70, once you’ve progressed past earlier islands.

The Raven NPC is located next to a small campfire just to the right of the Spider Cave entrance. Interact with Raven to accept the quest and unlock all three objectives at once.

Best farming route for Raven Quest 1

The most efficient route is a simple loop:

• Start at the Spider Cave entrance
• Clear nearby Crystal Spiders
• Mine every Icy Pebble node you see
• Move slightly deeper into the cave while waiting for respawns

This loop allows you to progress all three objectives simultaneously without downtime.

Raven Quest 1 - All objectives and how to complete them

The key to this quest is staying localized. The Spider Cave region contains every resource you need, making it unnecessary to travel across Frostspire Expanse.

Objective 1 - Kill 5 Crystal Spider

Crystal Spiders are best spawned in the Spider Caves of the Frostspire Expanse, without thinking much, get to the Spider Cave and slash down 5 Crystal Spiders.

Objective 2 - Mine 10 Icy Pebbles

In the same cave, you can find Icy Pebbles, literally everywhere, mine only 10 of them to complete the second objective. Note the name of the Pebbles carefully, before you start mining.

Objective 3 - Get 1 Aetherit

While you mine the Icy Pebbles, Aetherit is a guaranteed drop from them, with a 1/390 chance. Mining 10 Icy Pebbles will easily grant you 1 Aetherit, and that is all you need to complete the quest objective.

Common mistakes to avoid

Raven Quest 1 is best treated as a single-zone efficiency challenge. If you stay near the Spider Cave, mine every icy node, and clear spiders as they appear, the entire quest can be finished in one focused session with minimal risk.

Avoid these mistakes:

• Leaving Frostspire to farm Aetherit elsewhere
• Ignoring icy nodes while hunting spiders
• Entering deeper cave sections with stronger enemies
• Starting the quest with very weak mining tools

Preparation and location control matter more than raw combat power—stay in the Spider Cave and let the objectives complete naturally.
