Powered by the next-gen quad-core processor based Kal-EI chips of NVidia, Amazon’s 10.1 inch android tablet is being rumored to be made by Foxconn. Well, Amazon’s got not even one store of its own let alone the factory, so it was obvious that tablet will be outsourced. And now it looks like Foxconn has grabbed the deal to produce the Amazon’s best shot at tablet market — that Amazon loves to call it ‘Hollywood’ tablet — while the tablet is rumored for an early 2012 release.

But not to keep its users wanting and waiting, Amazon will come up with a shorter 7 inch tablet built by Quanta computer — in fact, the AZ stores have begun receiving the final units, so sale of these is expected soon. And yet there is one more tablet — called the Coyote, it got 9 inch display and is powered by NVidia’s dual-core Tegra 2 processor. The Coyote should hit the streets soon, well before the its big Hollywood brother powered by Kal-EI processors, but of course later than the 7 incher made by Quanta computer.

Unless you’re in a hurry, we suggest you wait till the quad-core Hollywood tablet is launched so that you remain sync with the latest tech.
