Press Renders that are claimed to be that of the upcoming One M9+ smartphone have started circulating on the micro-blogging site Twitter by the notorious leakster @upleaks. The top notch device is all set to go official at an event in China on April 8.
The leaked press release images show that the device is in line with the previous leaks. Notable aspects of the device include the striking gold and black color scheme. The source also posted a close-up shot of the part below the display of the alleged One M9+ showing a home button likely to double as a fingerprint sensor and the BoomSound speaker.
The camera appears to be circular and it has already been leaked in the live photos. The handset might come in two variants – one with a MediaTek MT6795 chipset for the Chinese market and the other with a Snapdragon 810 for the other regions. The other gossiped aspects of the device include a 5.2 inch Quad HD 1440p display, 3 GB of RAM and an ample 32 GB of native storage space.
Software wise, we know that the One M9+ will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop preinstalled in it, but it remains to be known if we will get the Sense 7 UI or the old Sense 6 UI on top of it.
