LG has announced preorders for its Android™ 3.0 Honeycomb Tablet Smartphone named Optimus Pad L-06C starting March 15th. The device is set to release in Japan tied up with NTT DoCoMo giving a Tablet experience worth 8.9 inches wide-screen, BeeTV, wireless entertainment service, 2Dfacto, and application to read eBooks and the famous Japanese comics, for the discerning Japanese user.
This is the same model which will make its way to Europe and Asia and would be the same as the G-Slate which T-Mobile is set to release in the US. It features a crisp 1 GHz Tegra dual-core processor, 15:9 aspect ratio display with 1280×768 resolution, dual 5 megapixel cameras with 3D recording, full HD 1080P, HDMI output to TV (3G and 3G capable), and everything else you can imagine the little man can have. Watch it folks, Optimus can give the other boys a run for their money.
