Then enter the side path that unlocks later in the story. This leads into the Rocky Ridges zone, which requires advancing through other areas first.

Preparing your Pokémon for navigation

Spend time in Rocky Ridges to learn new moves and meet key Pokémon like Chef Dente for cooking and DJ Rom as part of the main plot. Cook salads by processing leaves on a cutting board to power up your cut attack, turning the bar yellow. This lets you clear unbreakable bushes that block paths.

Run past NPCs and head straight down, ignoring the rock-blocked forward path.

Trading Silver Wings and more

Gimmighoul also wants Silver Wings. Trade one for a pop art table—treat it like a best friend. Repeat trades for other items like pop art sofas using additional Silver Wings.

Handling Lost Relics

Take any Lost Relics to the Professor for appraisal first. Return appraised ones to Gimmighoul for more pop art furniture trades.

Completing Gimmighoul’s habitat quest

After initial trades, Gimmighoul requests a mini museum habitat. Gather a post (like harbor poles from Vermillion harbor), a large Lost Relic, and a pedestal or exhibition stand. A pedestal already exists nearby, so build quickly. Poles are easy to take from early areas like Vermillion.

Reward Traded Item
Pop art table Silver Wing
Pop art sofa Appraised Lost Relic (e.g., Wide Lens)
Additional pop art items Multiple feathers or relics

Exploring the trading area extras

The building resembles a museum like Cinnabar or Pewter, with fossils and Pokémon to collect. Pick up music notes on the ground nearby for extra learning about the Lord.

Trading maximizes rare drops from Ho-oh and Lugia flights, turning them into stylish furniture while progressing Gimmighoul’s storyline for ongoing exchanges.
