Pokémon Pokopia 1.0.2 Patch Notes: Bug Fixes and Planned Improvements

What to know

  • Fixes progression-breaking bugs across multiple requests
  • Resolves event triggers failing in specific scenarios
  • Corrects Pokédex data for Spinarak
  • Further visual clarity improvements are planned

The 1.0.2 update for Pokémon Pokopia focuses on resolving critical issues that could block your progress, particularly during story requests and scripted events.

According to the official patch notes, several quest-related bugs have been identified and are being addressed. In the “Help make a home!” request in Withered Wasteland, Squirtle could move to the top of a tree, making it impossible for you to interact and continue. This issue is now targeted for resolution.

You may have also encountered progression problems in the “Find the Pokémon Center!” request at Bleak Beach. The update addresses multiple scenarios where breaking a cracked block too early or performing actions in a specific order prevented Professor Tangrowth’s bridge repair event from triggering. These fixes ensure that the sequence plays out correctly so you can proceed without disruption.

Similar event-trigger issues have been identified in Rocky Ridges. If you performed actions in a certain order, the encounter with Rotom would not activate. Additionally, the “Clear the path!” request could become difficult to complete under certain conditions. The patch aims to correct these inconsistencies so events trigger as intended.

The update also fixes a data-related issue in the Pokédex, where Spinarak’s type was displayed incorrectly. This correction improves accuracy for your in-game information.

Alongside these fixes, the developers have outlined planned improvements to make gameplay clearer. In certain requests—such as “Rock Smash your way to treasure!” in Withered Wasteland and “To Snorlax” in Bleak Beach—placing blocks over cracked blocks could obscure your path forward. Future updates will improve visibility in these situations so you can better understand how to progress.

Overall, version 1.0.2 is a targeted fix update. It focuses on eliminating progression blockers and improving consistency, helping ensure that your gameplay experience remains smooth and uninterrupted.
