Google is rolling out a new update to the Play Store that brings software version 12.2.13. The update is available for download as an APK, meaning it must be installed manually.

The update comes about a week after the release of version 12.0.20 and by the change in the version number, we don’t expect new features in the new update. Of course, expect plenty of bug fixes and under-the-hood performance improvements.

Since it’s only available as an APK file, you can still install it over your current version and you’ll be upgraded to v12.2.13 automatically.

We have a quick guide on how to install APK files on Android and just in case this latest APK download doesn’t go well with your device, check out previous versions in the link below.
