Location and how to start
The first half of the quest can be done on Dam Battlegrounds, The Blue Gate, and Buried City. Start by loading into any of these maps and approach an ENELICA building to begin the quest. The second half specifically requires you to load into the Buried City map.

Walkthrough
Follow the steps below to complete Paving the Way quest in ARC Raiders:
Step 1
Load into a map and locate any ENELICA building.

Step 2
Approach the entrance carefully. Once inside, locate the notice board containing the researcher’s note. It is typically near a desk close to the entrance.

Step 3
Inspect it to retrieve researcher’s note.

Step 4
After retrieving the note, load into the Buried City map. The next objective takes place above the Convinio in Piazza Roma.

Step 5
Reach Piazza Roma and enter the building. Use stairs, ladders, and ropes to ascend to the top floor.

Step 6
Be alert for Ticks, Pops, and Fireballs, which often spawn inside buildings. These enemies can deal significant damage, so plan your movement and use cover effectively.

Step 7
Find the researcher's flat, and on the top floor of the building, search for any research data.

Step 8
After collecting the data, return to Apollo and claim your rewards.
