The "Paralyzed by Panic" is an Encounter in Where Winds Meet that starts at the Encircling Lake Boundary Stone during the in-game “Wei” hour. Set the weather to Heavy Rain using Pro Mode in Photo Mode and switch modes to run around to trigger the Encounter. Heal the snake bites of Big Smart, Big Astute, and Great Wisdom, then defeat the ambushing brothers to complete the task.

Location & How to start
To start this encounter, head to the Encircling Lake Boundary Stone and ensure the in-game time is set to the “Wei” hour.

Open the in-game menu, go to Photo Mode, switch to Pro Mode, and set the weather to Heavy Rain.

Press the prompted Switch Mode key (Tab on keyboard) to switch modes and be able to walk around while in Photo Mode.

After completely setting up the Photo mode, move around the lake near the lake to trigger the encounter. If it doesn’t trigger, try again later.

Walkthrough
Follow the steps below to complete this Encounter in Where Winds Meet:
Step 1
After successfully triggering the encounter, head over and speak with Big Smart, who is standing near a rock.

Step 2
Use Wind Sense on Big Smart and successfully heal his snake bite to progress.

Step 3
Speak with Big Smart, then climb the mountain and speak with Big Astute.

Step 4
Heal Big Astute’s snake bite the same way, then speak with him.

Step 5
Head up the mountain once more, find Great Wisdom lying on a rock, and speak with him.

Step 6
Heal Great Wisdom the same way, which will then trigger an ambush.

Step 7
Defeat the 3 brothers and speak with them to complete this Encounter and receive the rewards.
