OnePlus has started rolling out a new incremental update for OxygenOS for OnePlus 2. The new update arrives as an OTA update with version number 3.5.9.
The last update to OnePlus 2 that arrived in March came with version number 3.5.8. As already mentioned this is an incremental update.
Since OnePlus 2 is based on Marshmallow, the Oxygen 3.5.9 update is also Marshmallow based. Unfortunately and sadly, OnePlus 2 will always remain on Marshmallow, as OnePlus won’t update it to Nougat.
