Overclock One S to 1.8GHz!

The HTC One S has more than enough power to get through almost anything you can throw at it, thanks to its power-efficient 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, which even beats the quad-core Tegra 3 and Exynos 4 Quad processors in some tests with only 2 processor cores. But you can now get even more power out of it by overclocking the processor to 1.8GHz!

XDA Elite Recognized Developer dzo has released custom kernels for the international and T-Mobile variants of the HTC One S that include the ability to overclock to 1.8 GHz (1.809GHz to be exact). Flashing the kernel will make the phone start up with 1.8 GHz frequency as default, which can be adjusted using an app like SetCPU.

More details can be found on the official development page where you can also download the kernels (which can be flashed in recovery). Keep in mind that overclocking is dangerous and cause instability, so make sure you know what you’re doing.
