A new software update is now rolling out for the Huawei Nexus 6P and it installs the latest February Android security patch. We had already told you that the 6P, Pixel and the Pixel XL would be getting a new security update today.
The Nexus 6P has got the update, and the build number is N4F26O. The update is available as an OTA and weighs 39MB. This update could also include some bug fixes for issues that have been present since the Android 7.1.1 update.
Several users have had problems with the Bluetooth and Voice calling after updating to Android 7.1.1. Google has apparently fixed these bugs, so it is possible that this update also includes them. We are not sure though.
The Nexus 6P has also received the latest Android 7.1.2 beta update. For those who haven’t installed the beta, it is recommended that you download and install this security update. Make sure your device has more than 50 percent charge and is connected to a stable WiFi or Cellular network.
