Finally, an official unveiling date has been set for the Oppo Find 5, the first device known to sport a 1080p display. We already know what specs the Find 5 will sport (awesome ones) and how it looks like, but this is the first time it has been mentioned in an official capacity.
Without a doubt, the single most standout feature of the Find 5 is that beautiful 5-inch display on the front, with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and the “higher than your eyes will ever discern” pixel density of 441 PPI. That isn’t all however, as the Find 5 also runs on the quad-core Snapdragon S4 Pro chipset with Adreno 320 graphics, the fastest chipset currently in the Android market.
Other rumored specs of the Find 5 include 2GB of RAM, a 12 megapixel camera, and Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, with everything powered by a 2500 mAh battery in an impressively thin 6.9 mm body made of anodized aluminium.
While the Find 5 will no doubt stay in China and never make an appearance outside the country, I can’t wait for the official unveiling to see what Oppo has to offer, and whether all the rumors about the specs turn out to be true.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 is coming 🙂
