Oppo had recently launched its latest flagship smartphone, the F3 Plus in the Indian market and it seems like the company is already prepping to push the Nougat update to it. And that too a Android 7.1.1 build right off the bat, skipping the 7.0 build — which is nice!

Carrying the model number R6051, the F3 Plus was spotted on GFXBench running the Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS. And this is we think Oppo F3 Plus could receive Android 7.1.1 update directly.

Oppo is labeling the F3 Plus with a “Selfie Expert” tag since it features a dual camera setup (16MP + 8MP sensors) at the front. At the back is a 16MP Sony IMX398 (f/1.7 aperture) sensor along with dual-tone LED flash.

The F3 Plus boasts a massive 6-inch FHD display at the front with a layer of 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 running atop. At the heart of the device is a Snapdragon 653 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB expandable storage space. A 4,000mAh battery (along with support for VOOC Flash Charge) backs the entire package.

The smartphone was launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box, but it seems like it’s going to get the Nougat update pretty soon.

The Oppo F3 Plus will go on sale in India starting April 1. The device is up for pre-orders already via Flipkart.
