A new Oppo smartphone has surfaced on TENAA, and it looks like a really exciting product. The Oppo A73, as it’s called, appears to have a large 6-inch bezel-less display, but completely lacks a bottom bezel. This is a new design approach, specially for a mid-range smartphone.

So far, we’ve seen plenty of new smartphones, like the Honor 9i, Honor 7X, Vivo V7+, featuring an almost bezel-less display. However, most of them include both a top and bottom bezel. Only few such as the Xiaomi Mi Mix have made do with one bezel, but at the bottom.

In the pictures provided at TENAA, you can’t really see this clearly. But look at the edited image below and you can see that there’s no bezel at the bottom.

We think this is a better approach than the Mi Mix, whose front facing camera is at the bottom, and that gives a weird angle when taking selfies or making video calls.

Other features of the phone include, an Octa-core 2.5GHz processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard storage, a 13MP rear camera, a 16MP front camera, and a 3115 mAh processor. The fingerprint sensor is at the back. The phone will run Android 7.1.1 Nougat up on release.
