Opera has finally removed the waitlist from its highly anticipated Neon browser. Power users who rely on AI a lot can now use it. Since its launch on October 2, it has been in the Founders Phase, but the waitlist is now removed.
Neon will provide users with a completely fresh new take on browsing. It uses AI to perform tasks like opening and closing tabs, comparing information across multiple websites and more. All of this is now available to you for 19.90$ per month.

With the subscription, you will be given access to top AI models like GPT-5.1, Gemini 3 Pro, Veo 3.1 and Nano Banana Pro. Opera has also included its built-in Neon chat in the browser. Opera says Neon can handle complex tasks like generating videos, travel bookings and editing documents.
ODRA deep research agent is a new addition, specifically designed for longer, in-depth tasks. It has a rapid "1-minute research" mode that provides clear data along with the source.
With the Neon Browser, Opera will compete with the ever increasing market of AI-powered browsers like Comet by Perplexity and Dia by The Browser Company. You can download Neon from the official Opera Neon website.
