The timing couldn't be more interesting, as the Watch 2 hit the market in March 2024, followed by the more affordable Watch 2R in July. Now, OnePlus is already gearing up for its next big move in the wearable space.

Tech enthusiasts are hoping for several upgrades in the Watch 3, including a functional rotating crown, enhanced peak brightness reaching around 2,000 nits, and advanced health features like ECG monitoring, temperature sensing, and fall detection. There's also a growing demand for a smaller 42mm or 44mm version to cater to users who prefer more compact smartwatches.
