OnePlus 2 will be launched on July 27 in virtual reality, but the firm is releasing bits and pieces of this upcoming smartphone almost everyday. On Wednesday, the CEO of OnePlus, Pete Lau has tipped that the OnePlus 2 might arrive with a full metallic body.

He revealed the same on his Weibo page and has asked a question “how to define full metal?” This implies that the upcoming flagship smartphone of the firm will have an all metal design unlike the removable plastic back cover on its predecessor.

In a leaked benchmark test from GFXBench, it is said that one of the variants of the OnePlus 2 with the model number A2003 will feature a large 4 GB of RAM. It is already known that the device will make use of an octa core Snapdragon 810 chipset that is likely to prevent the overheating issues associated with the chipset. If the RAM capacity as revealed by the benchmark database is authentic, the OnePlus 2 will undoubtedly be a powerhouse.

Also, a set of sketches of the OnePlus 2 have been leaked bringing light to some of the features of the smartphone. One of these sketches clearly shows the 8 MP selfie snapper on the smartphone that can definitely help users click splendid self portrait shots and more. It also shows the USB Type-C port along with stainless steel on the bottom of the device near this port.

The interesting aspect of the other sketch that shows the back panel of the OnePlus 2 is that it shows the main camera with a duo camera arrangement and a fingerprint scanner below it. The firm has officially confirmed the presence of the fingerprint scanner, and it has claimed that the same will be more accurate than the iPhone 6’s TouchID.

Though these drawings and benchmark details cannot be taken too serious, we can expect the above said features to be a part of the OnePlus 2 making the device a killer smartphone.
