OnePlus to launch new Dash Charge accessory?

With phones no longer remaining a luxury but turning into a necessity for us, its usage has also increased manifolds. From using it as a device to talk and text to paying our bills and buying groceries, clothes and just everything online, a phone has become our constant companion. To keep its lights on all the time, we need to keep it charged. Sensing our needs, technology has also taken huge leaps to present us with Dash Charge, Quick Charge and VOOC. These are technologies which help us charge our phones at a lightning speed. OnePlus jumped on this bandwagon with OnePlus 3 and 3T, where it introduced its Dash Charge accessory.

Tasting success with the OnePlus 3 flagship, the company is planning to launch a new Dash Charge product. The announcement was made rather in a unique way by OnePlus via its Twitter handle. As seen in the Tweet below, the company posed the question: What should we Dash Charge next? Reading between the lines, it’s not hard to guess that OnePlus wants to launch a new Dash Charge product.

The same idea was reiterated in another Tweet by Carl Pei, OnePlus co-founder, albeit in another question format. We think this is a way to gauge people’s reaction before launching the product. A pretty smart move.

OnePlus is rumored to launch its 2017 flagship phone OnePlus 5 soon. The topic of Dash Charge emanating now leads us to believe that the Chinese OEM might have plans to release this upcoming flagship device with a new Dash Charge accessory.
