We would admit it, it was very impressive of OnePlus to roll out the stable Android 10 update for its OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro handsets within three weeks of Google’s rollout for Pixel devices. Sadly, the update was marred by issues, causing OnePlus to halt the update and confirm that they are working on a hotfix update that would fix the issues reported.
It was reported that the so-called hotfix update will be rolled out by the end of October but well, it’s already here. Dubbed OxygenOS 10.0.1, the Android 10 bug-fixer update is rolling out for the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro users as we speak.
OnePlus announced that the update follows the staged rollout process and thus will be made available only to limited users today. Once the company is sure that the update is bug-free, it will expand the rollout to all the users gradually in the next few days and weeks.
For the Open Beta users, OnePlus rolled out a similar bug-fixer update yesterday, dubbed Open Beta 3.
