Lately, OnePlus has been permanently dropping the price of the OnePlus One smartphone in several markets. It also seems to be all set to terminate the exclusive partnership with Amazon India.
The leading Indian e-commerce portal Flipkart has posted a teaser tipping that the OnePlus One smartphone will soon be retailed by the firm. The teaser reads, “The One Wish Flipkart hasn’t fulfilled yet… is about to come true soon”. As of now, the device is exclusive to the retailer Amazon India.
A report citing a source from Flipkart states that the OnePlus One will be provided by Flipkart from June 22. Intially, it is expected that the 64 GB Sandstone Black variant of the smartphone that will be available via Flipkart.
It seems like OnePlus is following Xiaomi in India as the latter that started selling its offerings exclusively via Flipkart gradually started selling them via other online and offline channels as well.
These details come a day after OnePlus confirmed that its upcoming flagship smartphone OnePlus 2 will arrive with a Snapdragon 810 v2.1 chipset. There are claims that the device will go official in July.
