OnePlus has unveiled its latest smartphone, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro, in China. The device comes packed with top-of-the-line specifications, including Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a large 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 6,100mAh battery.
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro features a sleek design with a curved display and a punch-hole camera cutout. It comes in three color options: Titanium Sky Mirror Silver, Green Field Blue, and a limited edition Supercar Porcelain Collection. The phone boasts an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and includes OnePlus’ signature alert slider.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. OnePlus claims that the Ace 3 Pro is the first Android device capable of running the popular game Genshin Impact at 120fps.
The phone also features an advanced cooling system, the second-generation Tiangong, which includes a 9126mm² vapor chamber and supercritical thermal conductive graphite for improved heat dissipation.
The standout feature of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is its massive 6,100mAh battery, which is 13% larger than the one found in the OnePlus 12. The device supports 100W fast charging, which OnePlus claims can fully charge the phone in just 36 minutes. The company also guarantees that the battery will retain 80% of its original capacity after four years of use.
In the camera department, the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro features a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera. While the camera hardware may not be as impressive as some other flagships, OnePlus has included some software enhancements like AI scene recognition and improved low-light performance.
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro runs on Android 14 with the company’s ColorOS 14.1 skin on top. (We believe it will shall get the Android 15 update soon enough — in a few months when the update launches July-August, 2024.) Other notable features include dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity.
The device is priced starting at CNY 3,199 (~$440) for the 12GB/256GB model and goes up to CNY 4,399 (~$605) for the top-end 24GB/1TB variant. The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro will be available for purchase in China starting July 3. There’s no word on international availability yet, but if OnePlus decides to launch a OnePlus 12T, it will likely be a rebranded version of the Ace 3 Pro.

About OnePlus Ace 3 Pro battery: Let’s talk!
The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro packs one of the largest batteries seen in a flagship Android phone at a massive 6,100mAh capacity. This is significantly bigger than other top-tier phones like the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra (5,000mAh), Google Pixel 8 Pro (5,050mAh), and Xiaomi 14 Ultra (5,000mAh). Even compared to the regular OnePlus 12 (5,400mAh), the Ace 3 Pro’s battery is over 10% larger. OnePlus claims this “Glacier Battery” technology enables up to two days of usage on a single charge. The 100W SuperVOOC fast charging is also extremely quick, fully recharging the huge cell in just 36 minutes. So the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is shaping up to be the new battery life champion in the Android flagship space.
