OnePlus seems to be all set for the launch of OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro on May 14. But while the 6T was an exclusive for the T-Mobile, the 7 can drop the carrier and even launch on other carriers like AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint.
Today, a new set of official renders leaked by popular tipster Roland Quandt indicate that the OnePlus 7 might be more of an upgraded version of the OnePlus 6T than what was initially expected. The latest leaks indicate that the OnePlus 7 will have a water drop notch that is similar to OnePlus 6T.
Both the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro are going to be equipped with the Snapdragon 855 chipset along with a combination of either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128GB or 256GB storage. But while the OnePlus 7 Pro is expected to have a battery life of 4000 mAh, OnePlus 7 will be packed with a 3700 mAh battery similar to the OnePlus 6T. Also, the phone’s display is expected to be a 6.2-inch display along with a 1080p resolution which is not an exceptional change from before.
An important aspect separating the two is the camera. The OnePlus 7 will have a 48-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel front camera while the Pro is expected to have a triple rear camera (48, 16, and 8 megapixels).
OnePlus is also hinting at some sort of water resistance and faster storage. Overall, a lot is to be expected with the OnePlus 7 series being marketed as a better phone making us wonder how much better it can do against itself and its competition.
A lot will be revealed on May 14. Do you have a preference between the OnePlus 7 or the OnePlus 7 Pro?
