OnePlus has started the incremental roll-out of OxygenOS 9.5.7 for OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, bringing updates for GMS apps and optimizing data speed when switching from 5G to LTE.
The Chinese OEM is renowned for its timely updates, but it hasn’t managed to maintain its reputation with the 5G variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro.
The phone is still running the June security patch, while all of its siblings and most of its predecessors have received the August update.
Users have been left disappointed by OnePlus’ latest release, claiming that almost nothing has changed.
Here’s the complete changelog:
- System
- Updated GMS apps
- General bug fixes and improvements
- Network
- Optimized data speed when 5G mode switched to LTE
Thanks to its flagship status, the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G is certain to get the Android Q update. However, looking at how unusually inconsistent OnePlus has been with the device’s updates, it’s hard to reveal an exact release date.
