OnePlus’s recently unveiled flagship killer, the OnePlus 5 is now up for pre-orders (both Chinese and international variants) in Malaysia as well. The smartphone was unveiled in China a couple of days ago and is currently being launched in India as we speak.

Potential buyers can pre-order the OnePlus 5 on DirectD. As for the pricing, the standard 6GB RAM variant (Chinese version) starts at MYR 2388 (approximately $557) while the high-end 8GB RAM variant (international version) will set you back by MYR 2988 (approximately $697).

The OnePlus 5, as rumored, comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset hooked to either 6GB/8GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB storage. Akin to its predecessors, the OnePlus 5 still features a 5.5-inch Full HD display.

The imaging department on the smartphone is taken care of by a 16MP + 20MP dual camera setup on the back along with a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

On the software front, the OnePlus 5 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based OxygenOS out-of-the-box. There’s a 3,300mAh battery under-the-hood to provide juice for the handset.

The OnePlus 5 is available in two colors: Slate Grey and Midnight Black.
