Just after three days of the official launch of OnePlus 5, the Chinese smartphone maker is bringing the flagship phone to India. The device will go on sale today itself in the country at 4:30PM exclusively on Amazon.
The launch event is underway (at the time of publishing this post) in Mumbai. The offline sale of the device will be carried out by the company during the pop-up events scheduled to be held in New Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Mumbai over the next couple of days.

However, we are yet to find out what price tag OnePlus 5 will carry in India. But past reports have pointed towards a price of Rs. 32,999 for OnePlus 5 6GB while the 8GB flagship phone is expected to cost Rs. 37,999.
Packing in top-of-end internal hardware which are at par with the likes of Galaxy S8 and LG G6, this OnePlus 5 is a device worth trying out. Successor to OnePlus 3, the phone sports a 5.5-inch full-HD Optic AMOLED display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 on top. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with the Adreno 540 GPU.

OnePlus 5 boasts of powerful rear dual Sony cameras of 16MP+ 20MP resolution. At the front is placed a 16MP selfie shooter with 1-micron pixel Sony IMX371 sensor and f/2.0 aperture. On the software side, OnePlus 5 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat based OxygenOS. A 3,300mAh battery keeps the lights on.
