OnePlus 5 might be getting a new color option very soon

OnePlus 5 was launched last month in two color options viz Midnight Black and Slate Grey. And very soon the flagship smartphone could get bathed in a new color. OnePlus, through its official Weibo handle, hints towards launching OnePlus 5 in a new hue.

The Chinese company has posted image of OnePlus 5 in the already existing colors with a new colorless frame of the device with the caption: Who is coming? From this we infer that the company is preparing to launch a new color option.

This news gets more support from an earlier TENAA listing which showed Gold as another color option for OnePlus 5. Also considering that the OnePlus 3T was launched in Gold color, it makes more sense for the company to release a gold colored OnePlus 5.

OnePlus 5 sports a 5.5-inch Optic AMOLED display. At its heart, the phone carries Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset which is hooked on to either 6GB or 8GB RAM and 64GB or 128GB internal storage.
