There’s no denying the fact that OnePlus 5 has leaked more times than any other handset ever did. The good news, however, is that OnePlus 5 is now official which means you won’t have to deal with the tiresome leaks going forward.

The latest flagship killer from OnePlus, as rumored earlier, packs 8GB of RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage onboard. There’s also a 6GB RAM variant in case you feel the former to be an overkill.

At the heart of the OnePlus 5 is the Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 chipset clocked at 2.45 GHz. The Adreno 540 GPU, on the other hand, takes care of graphics on the smartphone.

The imaging department is taken care of by a 20MP + 16MP dual camera setup on the back. We are looking at a 16MP camera at the front as well for selfies and video calls — akin to the OnePlus 3T.

As for the design, the OnePlus 5 isn’t a complete overhaul when compared to its predecessor (OnePlus 3 and 3T). But, there a few significant changes. The rear camera bump, antenna lines are a few to name.

OnePlus 5 comes with standard connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB Type-C, 4G LTE, VoLTE, and the like.

On the software side of things, the OnePlus 5 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based OxygenOS. The entire package is backed by a 3,300mAh battery which falls in line with earlier rumors.

As far as the pricing is concerned, the 6GB RAM variant of the OnePlus 5 is priced at $479 in the US while the high-end 8GB RAM variant will set you back by $539. OnePlus will begin selling the device through online store starting June 27th in the US.
