OxygenOS Open Beta 11 and Beta 2 rolling out for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T

OnePlus rolled out the Android 7.0 Nougat based OxygenOS 4.0.2 OTA update later yesterday to stable channel for OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T. The company is now rolling out the same update to beta channel with UI improvements feature.

OnePlus staff member, Tony L, just announced the rollout of Open Beta 11 update for OnePlus 3 devices, and Open Beta 2 update for OnePlus 3T. The update comes with same set of changes that the OxygenOS 4.0.2 update carried, except for UI optimizations.

  • Fixed Proximity Sensor bug during calls
  • Fixed Google Play Store download bug
  • Increased System Stability

If you’re already a running a Beta build on your OnePlus 3 or 3T, you’ll get the new beta build directly as an OTA update. If in case the update fails to reach you automatically, you can check for it manually via Settings » About phone » System updates section.

For those running on a stable release and looking to to step into Open Beta releases now, you need to grab the full update zip from the download link below and flash the zip via recovery.

To install, just transfer the ROM zip file to your device » then boot into either stock recovery or TWRP (custom) recovery » and flash the ROM zip from there.
