The OnePlus 2’s official announcement is to happen on July 27, but we know most of the features that the device might flaunt as the manufacturer is letting them out in numerous leaks.

Already, there was a tip that the OnePlus 2 will feature an all metallic build instead of the plastic one on its predecessor. Now, a new render of the smartphone has popped up on Weibo and it is alleged to be the OnePlus 2.

The render is seen in the image above and it shows that the OnePlus 2 retains a few design elements from the yesteryear model. However, the all metal design is a prominent change. The OnePlus logo at the back and the camera sensor with dual LED flash are seen in the render. On the whole, the OnePlus 2 looks slightly arched at its back ensuring that it will provide a better grip when held.

The most notable aspect is that the back of the purported OnePlus 2 render does not seem to feature a fingerprint sensor. As we know that the smartphone will feature a fingerprint scanner as it has been confirmed by the manufacturer, we can expect the same to be integrated into the home button. We need to wait until July 27 to know more details about the smartphone.
