OnePlus has released its latest OxygenOS 15 update for the OnePlus 12R. The company has begun rolling out this stable version just weeks after making the open beta available to users.
The update, as announced by OnePlus Community, introduces several new features. You’ll notice smoother animations and enhanced visual effects throughout the interface, powered by a new system graphics engine with advanced parallel processing.
One of the standout features is the integration of Google’s Circle to Search functionality, which lets you search for information by simply drawing circles or tapping on items on your screen. The update also brings AI-powered features like AI Unblur for fixing blurry images, AI Reflection Eraser for removing unwanted reflections, and AI Detail Boost for improving image quality.
The battery management system has received a significant upgrade with the new “Charging Limit” feature. This smart addition automatically stops charging at 80% to preserve your battery’s longevity and includes a protection reminder if your device has been charging for too long.
For those who frequently interact with iPhone users, the update introduces OnePlus Share, a new file-sharing system that enables seamless file transfers between OnePlus devices and iPhones. The transfer progress even displayed on the iPhone’s Dynamic Island for a more integrated experience.
The update is currently rolling out in batches across different regions with specific version numbers for each: India (CPH2585_15.0.0.200(EX01)), EU/Global (CPH2609_15.0.0.200(EX01)), and North America (CPH2611_15.0.0.200(EX01)). If you’re currently using the beta version and wish to switch to the stable release, you’ll need to roll back to OxygenOS 14 first and then update to the stable version.
