In a move to give developers more business for their their apps in the Play store, Google is adding PayPal support for payments in the Play store. Begining today, users can start paying through their PayPal accounts in 12 countries, which includes Austria, Belgium, Canada, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, United States, United Kingdom.

Google has also expanded the Carrier billing mode of payment to seven more countries, including Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan. Google sites that Carrier billing “continues to be a popular way to pay” among users. In case you’re unaware, Carrier billing is a mode of payment which lets users add-up their purchases in Google Play directly to their phone bill.

The Google Play gift cards too are available in more countries now, including Japan Germany.

And last but not the least, developers from 13 new countries can now sell apps on Google Play store, including Indonesia, Malaysia and Turkey. Plus, local (buyer) currency support has also been added for 28 new countries.
