HMD Global recently teased that more devices will be announced at Mobile World Congress next month. Now, a new rumor has it that a new flagship called the Nokia 8 could be part of the announcements. We’ve got specifications and other details about the upcoming smartphone from Nokia.
According to the rumor, the Nokia 8, as it could be called, may feature a Snapdragon 835 processor, a 5.7inch QHD Super AMOLED display, a 12MP front camera and a 24MP rear camera. The camera setup could be similar to the one found in the Nokia Lumia 1020. It will be circular and protrude out of the back.
It would also have 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, dual front speakers, fingerprint sensor, LED notification lights, and run on Android 7.0 Nougat. There could also be a lower end variant of the Nokia 8 that would feature the Snapdragon 821 processor along with toned-down specs.
We have been expecting a flagship smartphone from Nokia, and this could be it. The announcements will happen after February 26, during the Mobile World Congress. We can’t wait to see what HMD Global and Nokia have in store for us. The recently announced Nokia 6 is now available for pre-order in China. A global version of the smartphone should also be announced at MWC.
