HMD has recently set an event for October 4 during which we expect to see the company introduce the new Nokia 7.1 Plus.
Well according to a tip received by NPU, it appears the Finnish company is planning to also unveil the Nokia 7.1 alongside the 7.1 Plus model. It’s possible that this version will come sans notch, while the Nokia 7.1 Plus (or Nokia X7) will feature a display cutout, as it was previously rumored.

However, both smartphones will apparently be powered by a Snapdragon 710 processor. Other than that, not much is known about the specs of the upcoming devices. Based on previous leaks, the Nokia 7.1 Plus will most likely feature a Zeiss-branded main dual-camera, but we don’t know the exact specifics.
Obviously, the standard Nokia 7.1 will have a smaller display than the 7.1 Plus, but the bulk of specs will most likely be quite similar.

The upcoming Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 7.1 Plus are the successors of the Nokia 7 which launched in 2017 with a Snapdragon 630 on board. The phone featured a 5.2-inch display with FHD resolution and the classic 16:9 aspect ratio. This year, the new-comers will most likely make the transition to the more modern 18:9 form factor.
HMD also unveiled a Nokia 7 Plus model in March 2018 and that model came with more advanced specs and tall and compact body.
