Nokia 3, the entry level phone, will soon be making its way into the Asian markets. The phone has been spotted on Indonesian certification agency Postel hinting that its release in the country as well as other regions in Asia is not far away.

Listed as model number TA-1030, POSTEL shows the certification status as pending, which we believe once granted will pave the way for its Asian release.

Although, the exact time-frame of the release of Nokia 3 in Asia is not known, we do know that it will be launched in India this June alongside Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. In fact, these phones will also be manufactured in the country and will be available for purchase online as well as offline, Ajey Mehta, India VP at HMD Global had revealed in a past interview.

Featuring a 5-inch Full-HD screen, it packs entry level features including MediaTek 6737 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 16GB expandable storage and 2,650mAh battery. Surprisingly, it runs Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and sports 8MP camera each on front and back.
