Having cleared Bluetooth SIG a few days ago, the entry-level Nokia 3 may very well be heading for an imminent release in USA pending clearance from the FCC.
For those not in the know, the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) handles the registration and clearance of all US devices and no phone can expect to be released in the country unless it has been cleared by the commission itself.

Bearing the moniker TA-1032, the device is currently pending clearance with the FCC but with the application already underway, it is aptly clear that a US release may very well be in sight.
The smallest device of the bunch by HMD Global (excluding Nokia 3310), Nokia 3 is available in four different colors and comes with a compact 5-inch Full-HD screen. Powered by a MediaTek 6737 chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB expandable storage, the device comes with an 8MP camera on both the front and back and runs stock Android 7.0 out of the box. Nokia 3 is also likely to include a 2,650mAh battery and may cost around $150 in the US upon release.
