How to start Desecrated Hot Spring
Head to the southernmost part of Tokaido in Nioh 3’s open world.
Face the Cape Cavern Shrine and check left by the tree for the warrior spirit leaning there.
Speak to him about the yokai-overrun Tokugawa hot spring to accept the mission.
How to complete the yokai clearances
Enter the cave directly ahead from the spirit, marked by a torch—this leads straight to the enemy base at the hot spring entrance.
Step 1: First yokai at steps
Exit the cave and go up the steps to your right; a yokai patrols the top.
Step 2: Ambush in the shack
At the top, enter the shack behind the first yokai’s spawn; approach the back corner near the body for a ceiling drop attack from the second.
Step 3: Stealth under ledge
Exit the shack, turn right to the ledge over long stone steps; drop for an easy stealth kill on the third yokai below.
Step 4: Duo on the right path
From the third, go right immediately; take out two more yokai here—one throws projectiles, so dodge on approach.
Step 5: Monkey yokai boss
Proceed ahead to the hot spring on the left; the final behemoth monkey yokai kneels feasting on a corpse. Use ranged attacks like bow or Ninja tools since stealth fails; it’s fast and strong.

Hot spring benefits
After clearing, talk to the reappeared spirit to wrap up.
Then dip in the hot spring for full health restore, temporary regen buff, and drops. This unlocks hot spring icons map-wide, aiding exploration in Tokaido and beyond.
