Nintendo has unveiled a significant new feature for its upcoming Switch 2 console: the 'C' button, which activates a Discord-like GameChat system. Located on the right Joy-Con and the Pro controller, the 'C' button allows players to engage in voice and video chats, as well as share their gameplay screens with friends. This marks the first time Nintendo has integrated built-in voice chat into its hardware.

GameChat supports up to 12 participants in a single session. Players can use the console's built-in microphone, which is designed to pick up voices even when the device is docked.
