And here we are with yet another unofficial CM13 build, this time for the Nexus 6. Developer albinoman887 has just released an alpha build of CM13 for Nexus 6 over at xda and by the looks of things it seems to be a pretty functional ROM.

Major functionalities like Camera, Service, Data, WiFi, GPS, Audio/Video playback, NFC, etc. are all working on this Nexus 6 CM13 ROM. But you may not want to leave stock Marshmallow ROM from Google in favor of CM13 yet, since this build misses out on most of CM features. The Settings menu is basically AOSP on this ROM.

Below is the list of issues known so far on this Nexus 6 CM13 ROM:

  • VoLTE does not work so you lose data in calls if you are a CDMA user
  • There is no CM MMS app so you MUST install google messenger to receive SMS/MMS
  • A LOT of CM features are missing. the Settings menu is basically AOSP
  • Probably more, its an alpha, you tell me

If you’d like to install this Nexus 6 CM13 ROM, just grab it from the download link below and follow installation instructions link.

Since this is an AOSP based ROM, you’ll not have Google services like Play Store pre-installed on it. You need to flash a compatible Gapps package separately to get Google services. Get Marshmallow Gapps from the download link below:
