It looks like Lenovo could start selling new Motorola phones with their custom ZUI OS installed, according to a source. Not a lot is clear from the image above, but you can see the Moto logo with ZUI written below it.
ZUI is the custom skin from Lenovo that is used in the ZUK series of smartphones. It features a fast and simple UI with lot of customization features. The latest version 2.0 of ZUI OS is based on Android Marshmallow. However, a version 2.5 based on Nougat is apparently being worked on and could be released soon. A leaked version of ZUI Nougat ROM is already available.
Moto phones usually run a close to stock Android ROM with a few custom apps and features. The UI is responsive, fast and easy to use, but lacks the customization level the ZUI OS can provide. But it’ll be saddening to see stock Android experience going away from Motorola phones.
How would you like the ZUI OS to be available on future Moto smartphones? Do you like the design and interface of ZUI?
