Verizon Wireless is rolling out new software updates with the latest Android security patches to the Motorola Moto E5 Go and ZTE Blade Vantage.
The update heading to the Moto E5 Go has software version OPP28.151-22 and tags along the January 2019 security patch, bug fixes, and general system enhancements. This is the first update for the Go edition Moto E5 since its launch on the Big Red.
As for the ZTE Blade Vantage, the current update is the fourth version the device is receiving, and it carries build number Z839V1.0.0B22. Like the Moto E5 Go, the Vantage is also receiving January 2019 security patches.
Although not mentioned, this update should also include bug fixes and optimizations for the Vantage, something that should help breathe new air into the 2017 handset.
Both updates are airborne, meaning it will take some time before all units on Verizon receive the download notification, so some patience will be required here.
