Just a few days back, Samsung started sending a new update to the recently launched device the Galaxy Note 8. The update arrived as version number N950USQU1AQI5 and brought numerous bug fixes including Blueborne security patch.
Now AT&T has started pushing a new update to the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 that arrives as version N950USQU1AQIA. The latest update is an OTA update and weighs around 220.93MB. Although it will take some time to reach your device, you can check it manually by going into Settings –About and Software.
While on one hand, the update brings fixes for GPS issue on the Galaxy Note 8, it also fixes camera launch issue. Further, it also updates Samsung keyboard app on the Galaxy Note 8. You should also expect under the hood performance improvements.

BTW, the update still doesn’t bring the September security patch, which means the AT&T Galaxy Note 8 is still on August security patch. However, as mentioned before, the previous update did bring Blueborne security patch for Note 8 without September patch. For uninitiated, most of the other Android devices have received Blueborne patch along with September patch but this is not the case for Galaxy Note 8.
