WWM appearances and cosmetics launching on 9 January 2026
The initial Version 1.2 drop brings the largest batch of cosmetics. Inkstone Reverie anchors the Battle Pass with a scholarly, ink-washed aesthetic, while Nine-Tails’ Legacy and Dancing Moonlight add mythical and elegant flair through the Draw Shop. Dragon Protector offers a bold, armor-forward look directly from the Shop. Mid January cosmetics and appearances launches
From January 12 onward, the focus shifts to refinement. Lilac Reverie arrives in the Mall with a softer, ceremonial tone. Silent Voice: Cosmos Sweep enhances weapon visuals with a more cosmic style, followed by Serpent’s Spine, which leans into darker, more aggressive design language. Scorched Paths debuts as a martial art effect that emphasizes raw power and heat during combat animations.
Late-January to early-February launches and extensions

The update introduced a layered weather system in the capital. Rain, mist, and thunder now shift dynamically through scripted cycles. Certain storms generate Resonance Flares along the riverbanks and rooftops. A major addition was Music Echo Trials, a new challenge format blending traversal, combat, and rhythm inputs. Kaifeng’s waterways also became mechanically meaningful. By using Tai Chi’s out-of-combat ripple effect, players can trigger hidden jumps from fish schools, which now contribute toward the Ripple Count achievement chain. Reaching the required threshold unlocks the Rippled Carp Emblem avatar, a profile cosmetic celebrating mastery over water interactions.
The 1.2 Season Shop received a Kaifeng-focused rotation. Cosmetics from both replay drops and past event pools now cycle weekly, giving players deterministic access to decorations that were previously RNG-exclusive. This shop also includes the Jade-Bound Tuning Fork, an accessory exchanged by combining Melody Seals with duplicate Lingering Melody rewards at the Forge interface.
Progression caps were also raised. The update expanded the maximum Kaifeng Exploration tier, increasing stamina efficiency for campaign replay loops.
