Negative Press Walkthrough - A Safehouse in the Hills - GTA 5 Online

KnoWay Out - Negative Press is a high-chaos contact mission featured in GTA 5 Online’s A Safehouse in the Hills update, where players team up with the elusive Avi Schwartzman to dismantle the corrupt KnoWay corporation from the inside.

Using a stolen KnoWay Pod, you’ll cause massive public damage, sabotage the company’s image, and battle through guards, billboards, taxis, and police interference. This mission blends driving challenges, destruction objectives, and classic GTA-style mayhem for an action-packed experience.

How to start the mission

Log in to the Prix Luxury real estate and check out the mansions. As soon as you come offline, you will be prompted to begin the hustle in Santos.

Find Avi Schwartzman. Set a waypoint to the contact mission.

Talk on the payphone in Little Seoul to get a briefing on the missions and objectives from Avi.

The next phone call is at the 24/7 in the market area of Rockford Hills.

Check your progress and navigate to Options > Career > Contact Missions > KnoWay Out.

Mission officially begins here.

Walkthrough

Follow these steps to complete the KnoWay Out Negative Press mission:

Step 1: Go to the KnoWay Depot

Start the mission by reaching the KnoWay Depot. Set your waypoint and headout on the roads of Los Santos.

Step 2: Take out the KnoWay Guards

As you enter the KnoWay Depot, you will see a herd of KnoWay guards. Take them out one by one using your gun or pistol. Aim for headshots for a quick clearing.

Step 3: Enter the KnoWay Pod

After the guards are knocked out, enter the KnoWay Pod and leave the KnoWay Depot safely.

Step 4: Damage KnoWay's Reputation

The next task is to destroy KnoWay's reputation. Since you are riding the KnoWay Pod, be a menace and put their heads on line with your damage. This requires you to:

A - Cause 5 high-speed collisions with vehicles. Simply bump into 5 cars on the road.

B - Reach a height of 30 ft in the air. To do this, follow through any terrain in the outskirts of Los Santos at maximum speed.

C - Knock down 5 pedestrians.

Step 5: Destroy Billboards and Taxis

While riding the KnoWay Pod, destroy every KnoWay billboard on your way. They will be marked as red dots on your minimap.

KnoWay taxis are white SUVs marked as red on your minimap. Ram them away from the road to completely disable them and destroy them.

Step 6: Destroy your KnoWay Pod

At last, destroy your own KnoWay pod. Slam into vehicles, race across cliffs, burn, bomb.

A health bar on the bottom right of your screen shows the damage taken by your KnoWay pod. Get it to zero.

Step 7: Destroy other KnoWay Taxis

As you destroy your own pod, you get back to the Depot. Destroy all KnoWay Taxis in the depot as well. You can easily do so by shooting at them.

After destroying them all, leave the Depot safely.

Step 8: Leave the Area

All this menace causes cops to track you down at the Depot. Leave the area as soon as you can and escape them.

Step 9: Reach Avi's Dead Drop

Get into a vehicle and go to Avi's Dead Drop.

Get to Avi's Felon GT and collect cash from the trunk.

Step 10: Answer the Payphone.

Complete the mission by talking to Avi on the payphone.
