Motorola is all set to launch the its Razr HD upcoming android phone, a variant of Verizon bound Droid Razr HD, in Brazil in coming few months. Moreover, the Motorola Razr HD will be country’s first phone to come 4G ready, out of the box.

This announcement should mean a lot to prospective android phone buyers in Brazil, since Razr HD is a pretty cool phone, with a spec0sheet of: 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm S4 processor, 1 GB RAM, massive 4.7 inch Super AMOLED HD display, 32GB internal storage, 8MP camera in front, 2500 mAh battery to power it, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-loaded along with Motorola’s custom UI. And it’s pretty slim too, at 8.4mm of thickness, but it’s still little bit heavy, at 146 gms.

Even though it’s disappointing that the Razr HD sets, whether at Verizon or the GSM variant for other regions, won’t run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box, and would have to wait for Motorola to update it which is generally late, the other specs do make it a good phone to buy especially if you like Motorola’s build quality.

Anyway, if you are in Brazil and looking to upgrade to a new phone with an HD display and powerful processor, and aren’t too keen to wait for LG Optimus G and next Google Nexus phone, and also provided you have already passed on Samsung Galaxy S3 and HTC One X, well, that leaves you as the perfect buyer of Motorola Razr HD.

All that said, Motorola has remained silent on the price and release date stuff about the Razr HD, but it should not be far. And pricing should be what is usual for high-end phones, or like 10% less than the Galaxy S3 — at least that’s what I expect it to be.
