Motorola India has started rolling out Android 4.4.4 update which was recently released by Google. In a tweet post Motorola India said that the Kitkat 4.4.4 is already being seeded to Moto E, Moto G and Moto X devices in India.

Android 4.4.4 is basically a minor security update which addresses the issues in Open SSL, which is widely known as Heartbleed bug. These Heartbleed bug came into limelight in April and all Internet users have widely being affected by this. Along with fix for Heartbleed there are more security patches in Android 4.4.4.
Also, Motorola skipped Android 4.4.3 update for Moto devices in India, so the Android 4.4.4 update for India will also be including new features introduced in Android 4.4.3 update like the ability to turn off the persistent carrier name in notification bar.
In order to update your Moto E, Moto G or Moto X to Android 4.4.4 simply go to Settings > About Phone > Software Update and make sure you are connected to WiFi or have data pack other wise carrier charges may apply.
