In an article yesterday, we talked about Motorola’s plans to launch two brand new devices — namely Clark and Kinzie — that are expected to continue the droid tradition in the US.
From what we managed to gather, the Clark model is expected to come with a 5.2-inch 1440 x 2560 resolution QHD screen and 565 ppi pixel density while the Kinzie model will be equipped with a smaller 4.6-inch display, but again with the same 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution. The Kinzie model apparently applies the same panel which was originally made for the Gionee Elffie 8 before the Elffie 8 switched to a 6 inch display.
According to a more recent report, it seems like the Kinzie model will have a 5.43-inch QHD YOUM display and the device may be put to sale with Motorola laying special stress on the unbreakable screen the device is expected to pack. The screen also lends strength to the hunch that the device may be part of the droid lineup considering the fact that it’s the droid devices with their robust, enduring build that would have an unbreakable screen to boot.
If this device really turns out to be part of the droid lineup, then we can expect it to be available with Verizon — which holds exclusive right to the droid series in the US.
