Motorola is leaving no stone unturned in their quest to deliver amazing smartphones to the market. Their latest quest being Electrify M which will be sold through U.S. Cellular for a price tag of sub $100.

The Electrify M packs in a dual core 1.5 GHz processor, 4.3 inch super AMOLED screen, cool 1 GB RAM, 16 GB internal storage with 2 GB reserved for your fav apps and games, NFC, 8 MP rear snapper with HDR and a 1.3MP front camera for video chats, and it is 4G LTE enabled. Its engine is run by a solid 2000 mAh battery. Sure, a pretty strng-specced device for $100 mid-rage pricing.

The Motorola Electrify M comes with all the latest goodness of Motorola viz. virtually borderless edge-to-edge screen, gorilla glass, invisible splash guard coating for protection inside and out.

We all know that most of the recent Motorola smartphones are made to look rugged and in turn are immune to scratches, scrapes and scuffs. Also they are water-resistant to a certain degree and Motorola likes to keep the dressing very close to the original OS and stay away now a days from throwing in all sorts of customization that you likely see on HTC and Samsung phones, which is actually, cool.

The unique thing about the software optimization in this one is that it has Google Chrome as the native browser. Although Electrify Q comes pre-installed with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a jelly bean update has been promised in the near future.

This 4G LTE handset can be purchased online starting 8th Nov and you can see it floating in the stores from 9th Nov. Who’s in? Btw, you do know about the LG Nexus 4 that costs only $350 and comes unlocked, with quad-core processor and 2 GB RAM, right? Better give it a serious thought too before signing a contract very impulsively.
