The Motorola Droid Turbo that was launched in October last year for Verizon was priced initially at $599.99 without a contract. Now, the device is quite old and it appears like both Motorola and Verizon have decided to give it a price cut.

The Droid Turbo is now priced at $499.99 without a contract. You will get a 32 GB variant of the Droid Turbo in Black, Red or ballistic Nylon variants. With a two-year contract, you can buy these models for $99.99. The 64 GB variant of the Droid Turbo in Ballistic Nylon is available for $549.99 without a contract and $149.99 on a two-year contract.

The Droid Turbo was the first Motorola smartphone to boast of a Quad HD 1440p display. The device is an impressive offering with a quad core Snapdragon 805 processor, 3 GB of RAM and 20 MP main snapper. Running on Android KitKat, the Droid Turbo is slated to directly receive the Android 5.1 Lollipop update soon.
