With the Android 5.0 Lollipop build, Google introduced the support for additional users and guest accounts on smartphones. Such features may not be useful to everyone and at all times, but these are great additions to the Android platform as there are people who need them.
A few months back, the firm rolled out the Android 5.1 Lollipop update with these features intact. However, it seems to be different for DROID Turbo users who have received the Android 5.1 update.
As per the users of DROID Turbo who have got the Android 5.1 update on their device either via an official rollout or soak test, the features such as Guest Mode and multiple user account setup are not found on the device after the update. These users could not find the above mentioned features even in the Lollipop’s settings search feature.
Reportedly, the members of the soak test have expressed their disappointment in being left out without these features on the Motorola forums. The highlight is Verizon listed these features as a part of the DROID Turbo in the official changelog for the update. On the other hand, Motorola has not listed them as a part of the update.
